Emperia Holding represented by DTW sues Ernst & Young for over 430 mln PLN

Emperia Holding represented by laywers from DTW brought an action against Ernst & Young for compensation amounting to over 430 mln PLN. The dispute concerns the last year’s transaction of sale a subsidiary company of Emperia Holding to Eurocash – one of the largest FMCG market transactions in the last few years, where Emperia Holding was also serviced by DTW.

Extensive changes in civil procedure

On May 3, 2012 an extensive amendment to the Code of civil procedure enters into the force. The new provisions aim at improvement and acceleration of the proceeding as well as increase of effectiveness of enforcement system. One of the most significant change introduced by the abovementioned amendment is the liquidation of separate proceeding in the scope of economic proceeding.
